Skippers Class Summer Term 2014

Welcome to Skippers Class page for the Summer Term.  We hope that you have all enjoyed a good rest over the Easter holiday as well as the sunshine.  This term we will be busy learning outside as much as possible.   We will be looking at pattern and we are excited at starting this work with a trip to Marwell Zoo.  This term we will have Miss Lewis and Mrs Fenemore working in Skippers Class and welcome back, Miss Rennie and Miss Grover, student teachers from Winchester in May.

Skippers often choose to sing and form choirs when they are playing. This trio impressed with their performance!

Dough Gym and Funky Fingers!

Dough Gym and Funky Fingers!

Children in Skippers Class are working hard to develop a good pencil grip to help them with writing and letter formation.  Everyday the children take part in a Dough Gym or Funky Fingers activity which is quick, fun and helps children develop a tripod grip to hold their pencil.
