This page aims to give you all of the relevant and up to date information about homework in Swallowtails class.
During a normal week you are expected to complete the following tasks:
- Reading - Reading should be recorded in your reading diary, which should be brought into school every day. Children are expected to read at home at least three times per week. Children are allowed to record their own reading achievements at home but an adult must sign to verify their reading.
- Spellings - Sometimes children may bring their spelling journals home to help them with specific spellings. Children should also practise the spelling of words they find particularly difficult.
- Times tables - You should practise your current times tables, or division facts with an adult. All children have a Mathletics log in and they should regularly use this program to help them practise areas of maths they find tricky or an area they would like some extra practise with.
