At Lockerley, we provide a nurturing environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. With four mixed-age classes and a strong family atmosphere, the children benefit from close relationships with staff and a supportive learning community.

Throughout the day, children take part in a broad and engaging curriculum, collective worship, outdoor learning opportunities and activities that support their spiritual, academic and personal development. As a Christian school, our values are woven throughout daily life, helping children to grow in confidence, kindness and respect for others.

School Hours

The school day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm.

Children in Skippers and Admirlas (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) have lunch from 11:50am to 1:00pm.

Children in Swallowtails and Emperors (Years 3 to 6) have lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Lunchtimes include opportunities to eat, socialise with friends and enjoy outdoor play.
