Our class teacher is Miss Welby and our LSA is Mrs Billett.

Skippers Class is our Reception class, where children begin their exciting journey through Lockerley in a warm, nurturing and inspiring environment. Every day includes Discovery Time, a valuable opportunity for children to explore, create and learn independently through play. With the support of teachers, carefully planned enhancements within the provision help extend learning, spark curiosity and develop new skills.

As the year progresses, we gradually increase our carpet sessions to include Phonics, Maths, Drawing Club, RE and PSHE. These engaging lessons provide children with the strong foundations they need as they prepare for their transition into Key Stage 1.

From wonderful outdoor learning adventures and celebrating world events to nurturing every tiny spark of imagination, Skippers Class is a wonderful place to grow, learn and flourish.
