Summer 1

This morning we found a note and some supplies left by Buttons the Bear. He invited us to a teddy bears' picnic but we had to find him by going on a bear hunt. First we had to make some jam sandwiches and fruit snacks to take with us. We went through a forest, a river, sticky mud, a snowstorm and wavy grass before we found Buttons in his cave. We took him with us on our Teddy Bears' Picnic where we ate our delicious snacks. We had a brilliant time and were amazing at recounting our story from Drawing Club this week on our adventure!

This week in maths we were thinking about the number 6. We had to use our 10 frame to make a pattern of 6 or not 6 for our friends to describe.

We went on a spring walk. We were using our senses to explore the garden and think about the changes we could see from when we did our autumn and winter walks. We could hear the birds singing and see lots of beautiful colours throughout the garden. We then got the chance to be photographers and photograph our favourite plants.
