The Grand Finale of our science learning; Coke and Mentos!!!
We were investigating whether all solutions can be separated and how we can achieve this with different filters.
The conclusion of our English write was to read our work clearly to 'the future generations'. The children shared their work with Admirals class, who listened intently to their peers.
As part of our Science learning of 'Making New Materials' the children have investigated how volume of solvent, amount of substance, how stirring and size of substance can affect solubility. The children designed their own experiments based on these challenges.
Happy New Year! Emperors class have come in ready to learn and buzzing to throw themselves into their new learning. The children have performed poetry by Emily Kampf 'The Crown', using skills to project their voices and add interest to the poetry reading.
