Science - Emperors were exploring if salt water changes the force of water resistance. They designed experiments using 'fair tests' for both a boat and an egg. They were also able to discuss improvement and changes they would make to the experiment.

Maths Outdoors - Fun in the sun, learning to solve ratio and proportion problems
Design and Technology - Materials. Emperors class have researched and designed their 'Grab and Go' Bags. They have decided upon the most appropriate material too. They have learned the importance of making a pattern to help with proportion and planning. The children have learnt about seam allowance, hems and folds.
Design and Technology - Materials. The children have designed their own 'Grab and Go' Bags in case of an emergency. They have been practising different stiches: running stitch, back stitch and cross stitch. Some children even went home and continued to practise their new skills.
