Working with and supporting our community is a core thread of our school ethos. We value the importance of working with our school families and reaching out to the wider community for the benefit of our children. 

Community Lunches

Each term we invite members of our school community to have lunch with the children. Our vision of 'Love in our hearts, Courage in our learning and Respect for each other' has shaped our school's shared high expectations and experiences for our children. The community works to help children be the best they can be and show respect for different members of our community and how they can contribute to the development and growth of our pupils. 

Family Adventure Morning

As part of our Outdoor Learning Project, we actively encourage families to share outdoor activities they have participated in outside of school. To emphasise the importance we place on this we hosted a Family Adventure Morning at Bentley Wood. We invited families to join us for a walk in the wood, we looked for evidence of wildlife and made journey sticks.
