My role at Lockerley is really important to me. Whilst being Chair of Governors and supporting the Head Teacher, it is really important that Governor colleagues support the strategic work of the school and that we go on a journey together for the benefit of our children.
I started my Governor role in 2003 when my children were young. I am an ex bank manager, have run my own business and currently work for a lovely charity as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. The charity deal with those who require extra support and suffer domestic abuse.
I went to university in 2011 and have a BA in Education. I am currently in my last year of a Masters Degree studying Educational Leadership.
My values are based on every child having the best opportunity to learn and grow and be the very best that they can be as individuals.
I enjoy learning how SEN children develop and have a passion for equality, diversity and inclusion.
