Beaulieu Victorian Christmas

Today the children went to Beaulieu National Motor Museum to visit the Palace House and Grounds to see what it would be like to work as a child in Victorian times either as a footman, house maid or kitchen maid. The children learnt about the different jobs they would have had to have done and what each job entailed. After lunch we gathered around the fireplace to watch a traditional mummers play and to sing Christmas carols. A very festive day indeed with beautifully behaved children. Take a look on our class page for photographs.
