DEAR

Today was our first DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) session. Mr Dodson paraded around the school corridors shouting as loud as he could with his megaphone...DROP EVERYTHING AND READ!! As soon as the children heard those words they dropped everything (not quite literally), picked up a book and enjoyed ten minutes of focused reading time of a book of their choice. Even the teachers enjoyed some of their own reading time. Take a look at the pictures below. We're definitely looking forward to our next DEAR!
