Harry Potter Studios
Wed 28 Sep 2016What a magical day we all had at the Warner Brother Studios in Leavesden yesterday. The children behaved beautifully and had a fantastic day looking at all of the props, costumes and sets that appeared in the Harry Potter films. Check out our class page for some of the photographs taken from the day. -
House Captains
Thu 22 Sep 2016This week has been a busy week for the potential new House Captains. On Monday everyone that would like to run for House Captain presented their well rehearsed speeches to their houses. The children put a lot of effort into these including creating their own videos and PowerPoints
On Wednesday the whole school had the opportunity to vote for who they would like to represent their house. Each pupil received a voting slip. They all waited patiently until it was their turn to go and vote and then pop their voting slip in the ballot box.
Winners will be announced soon!

Murphy's Visit
Tue 20 Sep 2016Hi there
So today was my first day back at Lockerley after the long summer holiday, and hooray! I was back with the Admirals on their lovely bright alphabet rug. It was great to see everyone again and get lots of pats and strokes and tummy tickles.
I settled down with my head between my paws to concentrate. The first book I listened to today was where a tiger landed in a muddy pool. That's just like me! I love muddy pools too, but I don't like it so much when I have to have a shower afterwards - with the hose!
Next I heard The Spaceship, where a fireball was just about to hit the children in the spaceship but luckily, Floppy knew just how to fly it. Wow! I wish I could ride in a spaceship like Floppy, then my ears would fly out just like his!

Trailblazer Day
Fri 09 Sep 2016Today Lockerley Primary School had the most fantastic Trailblazing day. We spent all morning out on a walk through the village collecting items, scavenger hunting, map making and sign unscrambling. Then in the afternoon Admirals made nature curtains, Swallowtails created environmental letters and Emperors played Quidditch. Have a look at some of the photos from the day.
