Salisbury Cathedral Art Day

Today the children in Admirals went on a school trip to Salisbury Cathedral. We had a fantastic day in and outside the Cathedral and were in awe of how big the Cathedral was! We had three art activities to complete. The first was to make our own print patterns and print them onto black paper. We carefully looked at the repeating patterns around the Cathedral to inspire us. Next we made collages of the Cathedral using beautiful pieces of paper and glueing them on. After our picnic outside we came back inside to create ugly gargoyles made from clay. The lovely ladies that helped us from the Cathedral mentioned how well behaved all of the children were! Everyone had a wonderful day. Take a look at our photographs to see us in action.
