Kwik Cricket Tournament
Tue 27 Jun 2017Lockerley's Kwik Cricket team had a fantastic day at Andover Cricket Club. A total of 9 teams played throughout the day and Lockerley came third overall which is such a fantastic achievement. We played 5 matches altogether and won 4 of them. Each and every child that took part played brilliantly and represented the school pride. A big thank you to John Baxter who has helped coach the team and was there to umpire the matches on the day. -
Dalgety Pop-Up Cafe
Tue 20 Jun 2017Yesterday saw the first of Lockerley's Pop-Up Cafes with Dalgety setting the standard high for baking, decoration and service. The children worked tirelessly all morning to bake cakes, flapjacks and scones whilst also making decorations for their theme of 'Great Britain'. At 2:15 they welcomed parents, grandparents and friends into the hall where they offered excellent table service to all the guests. A great day was had by all and a lot of money raised Romsey Young Carers. -
Year 6 Cathedral Service
Wed 14 Jun 2017All of the Year 6's had a fantastic day out at Winchester Cathedral to celebrate their time at primary school. We sang hymns, said prayers and listened to the parable of The Lost Sheep. Oliver and Alice carried the banner with pride down the aisle and Keir collected our candle. The children's behaviour was impeccable and I was very proud to be their class teacher. We had amazing weather which allowed us to have a picnic within the Cathedral grounds and the children enjoyed the Park and Ride too!
