    Community Lunch

pupil who came to Lockerley in 1939, to have lunch with the children. The children

welcomed the visitors into school and enjoyed lunch with them in the dining hall. The visitors were then taken to Swallowtails class to enjoy some board games with the children. They

loved having the opportunity to enjoy the company of, and playing games with the older members of our community. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere as new games were shared and taught.

  • Inter House Cross Country

    Thu 14 Nov 2019

On Monday the whole school took part in our first inter house event organised by the SSOC - cross country.

After a whole school warm up led by some members of the crew the first runners set off, year 6 completing 3 laps of the green. The rest of the year groups started at various intervals completing different distances. The event finished with the Year Rs running 1/2 lap of the green.

I was extremely impressed with the teamwork that the children showed, cheering each other on, running extra laps to help a friend round and supporting each other round the course.

    Well done Team Lockerley.
