• Indoor Athletics

  An amazing effort by the eight children that attended the Indoor Athletics competition at Test Valley school today. They took part in many events including javelin, triple jump and running events. Overall we came in 4th place with some very strong performances. Check out our photographs below. Thank you to all of the parents that helped us transport children too.

• No Pens Day Wednesday

  Each year the Communication Trust run a 'No Pens Day Wednesday' which encourages schools and settings to put down their pens and to run a day of speaking and listening activities. Each class had a go at completing some activities for French, English and maths where they were not allowed to use any pens or pencils. Children completed some activities outside and on the laptops. There are some photographs on Emperors' class page of their outside maths lesson. 

• IBM

  Thu 05 Oct 2017 Harriet and Maddie

  On Tuesday, 6 children from Year 5 went to IBM to become more inspired by computing and design and technology. We all had an awesome time at IBM on Tuesday. We were given sketch books, pens and a small 3D printed gift. We were able to play with lots of different games including 'Cannon Conundrum', 'Alien Real Estate' and 'Robot Battles'. We got four break times where we could play giant Jenga so all in all it was a fantastic day.
