  • Admiral Class visit SeaCity musuem

Wed 05 Jun 2019 Miss Lilly

Today Admiral Class visited the SeaCity museum. We had a fantastic day and learnt a lot about Titanic. First we got to go around the museum in our groups and we played on some interactive games. For example, we steered a ship out of Southampton, shovelled coal into a furnace and steered a ship out of Southampton. Then we dressed up in clothes that they would have worn when on the Titanic. Next we had a tour of the museum by a guide who could answer all our questions. Finally we had a workshop and we got to do lots of different activities. For example, we handled artefacts from the Titanic and carried out a scientific water investigation looking at how and why Titanic sank. The children behaved brilliantly and really enjoyed their day out of class.
